Feeding Instructions:

Less feed is required when feeding Mountain Sunrise Complete Equine Performance pellets because of their high nutritional content; do not feed more than 2% body weight. Feeding more than 2% body weight of Mountain Sunrise Complete Equine Performance pellets may result in unwanted health conditions resulting from overfeeding. Performance horses, including lactating/pregnant mares and growing foals, require 1.5% and 2.0% of their body weight in Mountain Sunrise Complete Equine Performance feed per day.

Idle horses require only 1.0% to 1.5% of their body weight in Mountain Sunrise Complete Equine Performance feed per day.

Example: A 1000lb Performance horse would require 15lb to 20lb of Complete Equine Performance Pellets per day.

Example: A 1000lb Idle horse would require 10lb to 15lb of Complete Equine Performance Pellets per day.

Complete Equine Performance Pellets are a complete feed that contains forage, grain and a vitamin/mineral package so it can be fed without any further supplement or feed. Always ensure access to fresh water. Note: Performance horses should be considered animals that are worked almost daily.

Made from 80% sun-cured alfalfa and 20% grain with a vitamin and mineral package added. This pellet contains the following:
